What is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an online system that replaces the traditional paper arrival card (also known as TM6). It is designed to facilitate faster and more secure entry into Thailand, while also enhancing public health management. The TDAC applies to all travelers entering the country by land, air, or sea. The TDAC collects essential information such as personal details, passport data, travel itinerary, accommodation address in Thailand, and a basic health declaration. This data is integrated with Thailand’s biometric database, allowing for more efficient security screening at immigration checkpoints.
Who is required to submit the TDAC?
All tourists and foreign nationals entering Thailand are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) prior to their arrival.
When should the information be submitted?
Travelers are required to complete the TDAC within 72 hours prior to their arrival in Thailand. While assistance will be available at border checkpoints for those unable to submit the form ahead of time, it’s strongly recommended to complete it before departure to avoid potential delays.
